'Love' Bridges in Paris

Dan and I took another long walk along the river today. We passed two bridges that were covered in personalized locks dedicated to lovers. It's one of the sweetest and most romantic things I've ever seen. Dan kept my ardor in check with a mixture of indifference and and skeptical looks.

Sparkles

I'm not one for sparkles unless it's this big.

Salad sud-ouest

After a rainy morning spent wandering around le musee d'Orsay, Dan and I had lunch in a little brasserie on Saint-Germain. I had a salad with duck gizzards, smoked duck breast, fois gras, tomatoes, mushrooms, and potatoes sautéed in duck fat over a bed of roquet. Does food get any better than that? Not for me. I washed everything down with some dry hard cider served in a little ceramic bowl.
