Defender of Hay

I don't think Pepper had a chance defending her bed of hay from a hungry Feefee but she put in a good effort.

Fresh From the Farm

Every week I get produce from a nearby farm. Today I got tons of colorful spinach, rocket, parsley, and butternut squash. Can't wait for dinner tonight!

Pawleys Island, SC

I've been on Pawleys Island with a dozen other girls for the past few days and it's just wonderful.  We had some rain but today the sun came out and we all got some color.  (Some more than others.)  I've discovered dark rum tonics and an appreciation for grits among many other things.

Middleton Plantation, Charleston, SC

Katy and I are in Charleston, SC ahead of a bachelorette party on the beach.  We spent the morning at Middleton Plantation.  They have a working farm with goats, cows, sheep, chickens, water buffalo, horses, peacocks.  Needless to say Katy and I fell in love with lots of the animals.  The gardens were beautiful and we had a lovely day wandering around.

Tree Stump

My father had to cut down the tree in the front yard.  I think it looks quite majestic in a new way.
