Salad sud-ouest

After a rainy morning spent wandering around le musee d'Orsay, Dan and I had lunch in a little brasserie on Saint-Germain. I had a salad with duck gizzards, smoked duck breast, fois gras, tomatoes, mushrooms, and potatoes sautéed in duck fat over a bed of roquet. Does food get any better than that? Not for me. I washed everything down with some dry hard cider served in a little ceramic bowl.
